the working class goes to heaven:
home

Subject: Lulu Massa is a pieceworker. He is devoid of political awareness and leads a banal life, being indifferent to the fate of other workers, especially exploited Southerners.
He has an accident at work, and discovers, to his surprise, the solidarity oh his mates in the course of a strike organised to protest against the inadequate security measures.Henceforth, he is a man in revolt.
He is so close the left-wing students that he is threatened with dismissal. He takes on a second strike and obtains renewed victory after emerging from a temporary depression. The workers’ paradise has neverthless still to be won.
